Alcohol & Bar

Enjoy a flexible, budget-friendly bar. Rixey Manor is BYOB with no corkage fees. You supply the beer, wine, and spirits. Our licensed in-house team serves it all safely and stylishly.

Policies

All alcohol must be served by our bartenders. No self-service or outside bartenders permitted. We card guests as required by law and may cut off service if needed for safety. We do not offer cash bars since we don't sell alcohol.

Planning the Menu

We'll help you figure out quantities and craft a drink plan that fits your style. Beer and wine only? Full bar? Signature cocktails? All great options. Consider featuring local Virginia wines and craft beers for a little regional flair your guests will love.

Bar Setup

Our built-in bar includes taps for kegs and a wine fridge. You'll coordinate glassware, mixers, garnishes, and ice with your caterer or rental company. Want a satellite bar for cocktail hour? We can make that happen.

Timing & Last Call

Outdoor bar service follows the 10:00 PM outdoor sound rule. If you want to keep the drinks flowing longer, add Extra Party Hours and move inside. We typically announce last call about 15 minutes before the end of your event.

Leftovers

Unopened bottles (and many opened ones) are yours to keep. Our team will pack everything up safely for you to take home or collect the next morning if you're staying on-site.
