Alcohol & Bar

Enjoy a flexible, budget‑friendly bar: Rixey Manor is BYOB with **no corkage**. You supply beer/wine/spirits; our licensed in‑house team serves it safely and stylishly.

Policies: All alcohol must be served by our bartenders; no self‑service or outside bartenders. We card guests as required and may cut off service if needed for safety. Cash bars are not offered (we do not sell alcohol).

Planning the Menu: We’ll help you choose quantities and craft a drink plan (beer/wine only or full bar, plus signature cocktails). Consider local Virginia wines/beer for regional flair.

Bar Setup: Built‑in bar with taps for kegs and a wine fridge. Coordinate glassware, mixers, garnishes, and ice with your caterer/rentals. A satellite bar for cocktail hour is possible.

How many bartenders do we need?

At least two bartenders are required for any wedding; we generally recommend one per ~50 guests for full‑bar service. We’ll confirm the right count for your event.

Will you help with quantities and a shopping list?

Absolutely. We’ll help plan quantities and a drink menu (beer/wine only or full bar, plus signature cocktails). We can also suggest local Virginia wines/beer.

What about mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware?

Coordinate glassware, mixers, garnishes, and ice with your caterer or rental company. We’ll provide a checklist and quantities so nothing’s missed.

Where is the bar set up?
