Bar Upgrades

Bar Upgrades
Highlights
Upgrades elevate the guest experience: champagne welcomes, outdoor specialty bar, table-side wine/champagne, cigar corner, late-night cocoa/coffee spikes.
Most upgrades require extra staff (bartender/server/barback) to keep the main bar flowing and lines short.
Real glassware slows service - we suggest limiting real glassware to tables and potentially cocktail hour. Remember we include hard clear plastic glasses in your package.
Hydration & safety are baked in: visible water/coffee, mindful last call, bartenders monitor over-service.
Upgrade Menu (with Staffing Notes)
Champagne Welcome Drink
Tray-passed bubbly (or a welcome cocktail) at ceremony arrival or start of cocktail hour.
Plan ~1 glass per adult; begin pouring 20–30 minutes prior.
Staffing: dedicated server/bartender - may be doubled as an extra hand.
Budget-smart: prosecco or cava in place of Champagne.
Specialty Bar (Cocktail Hour)
Signature Cocktails, or specialty drinks tasting served on the front lawn after the ceremony.
Keep menu simple.
Staffing: an extra bartender.
Table-Side Wine/Champagne Service
Pre-pour at seats for dinner/toasts, with roaming refills.
Elegant but labor-intensive—plan ~2 staff dedicated to pours (adjust for guest count).
Ensure sufficient wine/champagne inventory to match generous service.
Real Glassware Everywhere
Upscale feel; adds collection/washing cycles and breakage risk.
Staffing: add a barback (or extra bartender).
Popular hybrid: glass through dinner, switch to plastic after ~7pm.
Personalized Bar Décor
Custom neon, framed menus, theme props (tiki/speakeasy), couple photos.
We’ll place décor securely and visibly so guests don’t miss it.
Cigar Bar (Outdoors)
Designated patio area with ashtrays; optional custom matchbooks/cutters as favors.
No extra staff unless hiring a cigar roller. We’ll mark a safe smoking area and provide sand buckets.
Late-Night Drink Upgrades
Hot chocolate in winter (we stock 3 gallons pre-ceremony if cold; for all-night service bring 3 more gallons chocolate milk).
Irish coffee bar or coffee with liqueurs in the last hour.
Can be self-serve or briefly staffed.
Safety First
Upgrades can boost consumption. Our bartenders:
Watch for over-intoxication, limit straight liquor when needed.
Keep water and coffee prominent all night.
Do not do a last call, then pivot to water/soda to wind down.
Bottom line: Upgrades are an experience investment. Pair them with the right staffing so everything feels smooth, special, and safe.
