The Weekend Timeline
A very rough guide to the "average" weekend
Check In
Most couples check in at 3pm on the first day of their wedding "weekend".
Wedding Walkthrough
After everyone in settled in we do a walkthrough of how your wedding day will look. We go through all the steps and moving parts until everyone understands the plan and nerves are under control
Rehearsal Dinners
Rehearsal Dinners take all forms from a casual pizza party with just your immediate VIP's, to a formal dinner, and welcome drinks...
Culpeper
But also many couples choose to take it off site into Culpeper, making use of the lovely restaurants and great bars "saving" the Manor for a peaceful night and fun wedding day.
Wedding Morning
Wedding Mornings begin early and involve breakfast a prosecco
Some couples spend the morning together - while some part ways with one group in the cottage and the other in the Manor
Lunch time
Where the bride is nearly ready and food often gets delivered to keep everyone going, and their mood high
After The Wedding
Usually the post wedding hang out includes a change into PJ's, leftovers from the fridge and a post wedding analysis with your nearest and dearest who are staying on site.
Quiet Morning After
If there is no brunch organized, check out is at 10am and the morning usually consists of dividing left over food and alcohol, and lots of coffee.
Brunch
Some couples choose to wrap up the weekend with a brunch. Its a super relaxed affair and a nicer way to have a softer landing after all the wedding excitment.
Isadora
Isadora has been the proud owner of Rixey Manor since 2014, pouring her heart and soul into every nook and cranny of the estate. With her blood, sweat, and tears ingrained in its very foundation, she is fiercely dedicated to ensuring that every wedding day unfolds seamlessly. Her role transcends mere management; she becomes an unwavering ally in her couples' corner. Whether it's expertly fixing dresses with a needle and thread, bravely standing up to demanding relatives, or meticulously orchestrating every aspect of the weekend, Isadora is determined to bring her couples' dreams to life.
Grace (and Corrie)
Grace has been an indispensable part of the Manor since nearly its inception, and with each passing year, her role expands. As Isadora's trusted right hand, she ensures that every behind-the-scenes detail is flawlessly executed. With a special expertise in tending to the needs of extended family members who may require a little extra attention, Grace allows everyone else to relax and enjoy the celebration without worry. Whether it's the meticulous lighting of a thousand candles, the precise arrangement of tables and food, or providing that extra touch of care, Grace is there, ensuring everything unfolds seamlessly.
On a side note Grace is camera shy so this is a rare photo. Corrie, for instance, not only lends her talents as a hairstylist and makeup artist but also jumps in to help wherever needed as "Extra Hands". In this case trimming Graces' hair after an unexpected candle incident.

Their camaraderie infuses every aspect of their work, from their seamless service to their warm interactions with guests. Not only are they experts behind the bar, mixing up delicious drinks with ease, but they're also incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the manor, from its operations to its rich history.
